The collaboration with ENEA has led ALCA Technology to the realization of liquid metal pilot systems (lead-lithium and lead-bismuth) for thermo-fluid-dynamic studies in the nuclear fusion research sector.
Moreover, for the design of the new nuclear fusion machine (ITER) obtained by an international cooperation, we have a partnership for feasibility projects and for component and trial equipment manufacture.
The results of the studies carried out on our plants will be taken into consideration for the design of nuclear fusion plants in the next future, both for the material characterization to be applied and for their functional aspect.
The excellent results obtained are the subjects of meetings and international workshops.
